Why Cooldown Management Matters
Wasting abilities too early leaves you vulnerable.
Holding them too long means you're not maximizing impact.
Smart ability usage can win fights and even entire matches.
Tips for Each Role
Tank
Reinhardt: Don’t waste Fire Strike randomly; use it when you have a clear shot or to finish off low-health enemies.
D.Va: Save Defense Matrix for high-value projectiles like Ana’s Sleep Dart or Cassidy’s Magnetic Grenade.
Winston: Use Jump Pack to engage, but keep track of when it will be available to escape.
DPS
Cassidy: Magnetic Grenade is powerful but don’t throw it randomly. Use it when securing a kill.
Genji: Never waste Deflect too early. Bait enemy fire and use it at the right moment.
Echo: Sticky Bombs can burst enemies down but work best when comboed with Focusing Beam.
Support
Ana: Don’t throw Biotic Grenade just for healing. Save it for when you can anti-heal multiple enemies.
Kiriko: Swift Step should always be ready to escape danger. Don't teleport aggressively without an exit plan.
Baptiste: Use Immortality Field wisely—don’t throw it too early or it gets wasted.
Final Tip: Always Track Enemy Cooldowns
If you see the enemy has used their key abilities, that’s your chance to engage!
Mastering cooldown management will boost your win rate and help you climb the ranks.
